GENERAL SERVICE CALLS & POLICIES

TC Pools mandates annual training to every employee to help keep us at the top of the pool service industry. All of our technicians are supplied with classroom, hands-on, and field supervised training. We feel that service is a huge part of our company and our success, and that is why we invest so much time into training our technicians. You can be assured that when we send technicians into your yard they will be qualified, educated, and insured.

A few of the services we provide to help you:

  • Pool Openings and Closings
  • Vinyl Liner Replacements
  • Pool Leak Detection and repairs
  • Filter Sand Changes
  • Pool Equipment Repair
  • Filter Cartridge Cleaning
  • Automatic Pool Cover Repairs
  • Pool Inspections and Orientations

Regarding Pets

regarding pets    TC Pools requests that pets be placed inside the home or otherwise secured on service days. We do our best to guarantee your pets safety while servicing your pool but we cannot be responsible for pets that escape during our service call. Please note that we will not service your pool if it is "guarded" by an unfriendly dog left unrestrained. We ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding household pets.

Regarding Fence Gates and Auto Covers

TC Pools request that fence gates be left unlocked on service days in order to allow our technicians access to perform service on your pool. It is helpful also, that if you have an automatic cover, we have access to the key, switch, or code.

Service Calls

Service calls are defined as customers’ contact and/or request for TC Pools to come to their home. A trip charge of $49 plus $95/hr per technician is charged to the customer. The hourly charges are billed on ¼ hour increments based on the current hourly rate. If for any reason the pool is inaccessible due to locked gates, unfriendly pets, no electrical power, ect., then we will require a trip charge of $49.

Please remember that while we try our best to arrive on your requested scheduled date sometimes it is not always possible.

To have a service call cancelled; the call must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the service date. If the call is cancelled after dispatch, it will be the responsibility of the home owner to pay the minimum charge. All dispatching to the technician is done by the service manager only.

Cancellations must be made via fax, written document, or emailed to info@TCPOOLS.com. Cancellations must be completed 24 hours prior to the date of service. If a cancellation is not made, the minimum charge will apply for holding the time slot.

Repair Authorization

When servicing a pool, if the price of a single part exceeds $150, TC Pools will seek homeowner approval before installation. Otherwise, the Service Tech will automatically repair, or schedule to have repaired, any problems.

Warranty Parts

All parts purchased through TC Pools will feature manufacturer’s warranties and extended warranties (if applicable). Check with the manufacturer or TC Pools for details of the warranty. Most manufacturers do not include labor for the repair or replacement of their product that is covered by warranty. Part warranty will begin on the date of the installation.

* Chemical damage to the pool or pool equipment will void the warranty. Insufficient normal pool maintenance (i.e. emptying skimmer and pump baskets) will also result in a voided warranty.

Warranty Labor

TC Pools offers a 30 day labor warranty, from the date of installation. This warranty will be for parts that we installed on the pool or equipment. If more repairs are necessary to fix the equipment, then the labor warranty will not be effective. New pools built by TC Pools will have a one year labor warranty in effect from the date of show how.

Cancellations must be made via fax, written document, or emailed to info@TCPOOLS.com. Cancellations must be completed 24hrs prior to the date of service. If a cancellation is not made, a service call charge will apply for holding the time slot.

If our member of the cleaning staff detects a problem with the pool, he or she will automatically contact the office for a dispatched service call. Warranty and repair authorization will apply when necessary. Filter cartridges will be cleaned on an as needed basis.

TC Pools also must have a form of payment on file. This may include, pay-pal, e-check, credit card, or debit card.
